SYNOPSIS: Buenos Aires, November 2001. Argentina is going through (once again) one of the worst economic and social crises in its history. Julio Färber (45), tired of never having any money, is determined to emigrate with his mother and daughter to Europe, leaving behind his shoemaking business, his neighborhood of Nueva Pompeya, and his beloved tango group… But life seems to conspire time and again against his decision…
